AI Assessment

How ready are you for your target role?

ReadyForRole's AI Assessment is a role-specific job-readiness assessment for students and fresh graduates in India. It shows what you believe you know beside what the assessment finds, module by module, instead of giving you one opaque score.

  • Role-specific
  • Self-rating vs. AI result
  • Module-by-module report

Five steps

How the assessment works

From creating your account to reading your report. Your self-rating is locked in before you see a single question, so the comparison at the end cannot be adjusted after the fact.

  1. Create your account

Tell us your domain, stream, year of passing and experience level. They decide which roles are matched to you.

  2. Choose a target role

Pick the job role you are preparing for. The role decides which skill modules you are assessed on.

  3. Rate your own confidence

Before you pay or see a single question, rate your confidence in each module. It is frozen before the assessment starts, so it can never be adjusted afterwards.

    Locked in before you start
  4. Unlock and take the assessment

Unlock it with a one-time payment or an access code, then answer the timed, role-specific questions.

  5. Read your readiness report

See your self-rating beside the AI-assessed result for every module, plus strengths, gaps and recommended training.

Your report

What your readiness report shows

  • Overall readiness

One readiness score with a plain-language band, so you know where you stand for the role.

  • Confidence vs. result

Your own rating next to the assessed score for each module, so over- and under-confidence is visible.

  • Strengths and gaps

Which modules are strong and which need work, ranked so the biggest gaps come first.

  • Next steps

Recommended training programmes targeted at your largest gaps. Email the report to yourself or download it as a PDF.

Roles

Roles you can prepare for

  • Full Stack Developer
  • Software Engineer
  • Embedded Software Engineer

The roles you see depend on the domain and stream you choose when you create your account.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How the assessment works, how it is scored and how your data is used.

What is the ReadyForRole AI assessment?

It is a role-specific job-readiness assessment for students and fresh graduates in India. You choose a target job role, rate your own confidence in each skill module, then take the assessment. Your report places your self-rating beside the AI-assessed result, module by module, so you can see exactly where you are ready and where you are not.

How does the assessment work?

Create an account with your domain, stream and year of passing, then pick a target role matched to you. Rate your confidence in each module, unlock the assessment with a one-time payment or an access code, and answer the questions. When you submit, each module is scored and your readiness report is generated.

What does the readiness report show?

The report shows an overall readiness score with a plain-language band and, for every module, your self-declared confidence beside the assessed result. It highlights strengths and areas to improve and recommends training programmes for your largest gaps. You can email the report to yourself or download it as a PDF.

Who is the assessment for?

It is built for students, fresh graduates and early-career candidates in India who want to know how ready they are for a specific job role before they apply. Which roles you can take depends on the domain and stream you choose when you create your account, so every candidate is matched to relevant roles.

How long is the assessment and how many questions are there?

Each role assessment is a timed test with a fixed number of questions, 30 by default, and an estimated duration shown on the screen. The exact question count, time and skill modules for your chosen role are displayed before you pay, so you know the full scope before you commit to anything.

Does it cost anything?

Creating an account is free. Each role assessment is unlocked separately, either with a one-time fee, where GST is added and the full price is shown before you pay, or with a single-use access code issued by a college or hiring partner. Both routes lead to exactly the same assessment and report.

How are my answers scored, and is the result a guarantee?

Multiple-choice and multi-select answers are marked against the stored correct options, while short answers are evaluated by AI against the question's key points. The report is a guide to where you stand for a role. It is not a hiring decision or a guarantee of selection, and it should be read alongside your own preparation.

Can I assess myself for more than one role?

Yes. Each role is a separate attempt with its own unlock, so you can assess yourself for as many roles as you like. Every completed assessment stays available from your dashboard, which means you can reopen any report later and compare how ready you are across the roles you are considering.

How is my data used?

Your profile and answers are used to run and score your assessment and to produce your report. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected, how AI is used on your answers, how long data is kept and how to ask for deletion, and the Support page explains how to contact us about your data.
