Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReadyForRole platform, operated by [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME] (“ReadyForRole,” “RFR,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

ReadyForRole publicly positions itself more broadly as a Talent Intelligence and Enterprise AI SaaS ecosystem, with enterprise, university, and workforce-readiness offerings beyond this web application. These Terms specifically govern the self-assessment web platform described here; a separate enterprise, university, or institutional offering, if and when you use one, may be governed by its own agreement.

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Note

These Terms are written to describe ReadyForRole’s actual, current product honestly, including features that are still being built. They are drafted as product/legal documentation based on the current implementation and are not a substitute for review by an Indian lawyer before publication.

1.Acceptance of terms

By checking the “I agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy” box and creating an account, or by otherwise accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2.Eligibility

ReadyForRole is built for graduates and early-career candidates assessing their job readiness.

Placeholder — business input required

A confirmed minimum-age requirement has not yet been finalised by the business. Pending that decision, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws of India (which generally requires being at least 18 years old) to use this platform. If you are not, please do not create an account. See the Privacy Policy’s “Children’s and minors’ data” section for more on this open item.

You must also provide accurate information about your education, college/university, and experience, as the platform uses this to assign you relevant job roles and assessment content.

3.Account registration & security

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and profile, and to keep it up to date. We rely on this information (for example, your stream, education level, and year of passing) to select appropriate assessment content for you.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@readyforrole.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We store your password only as a one-way cryptographic hash and never have access to it in readable form.

One account per candidate

Each candidate may hold one account on the platform, identified by their email address. You may not create multiple accounts to retake an assessment, bypass a one-time discount/coupon restriction, or otherwise circumvent the intended use of the platform.

4.Your responsibilities

Fair use & no cheating or manipulation

You agree that, while taking an assessment, you will not:

  • receive help from another person, or provide your answers to another candidate;
  • use unauthorised tools, scripts, or automation to answer questions or interact with the platform;
  • attempt to view, copy, extract, or share assessment questions, correct answers, or scoring rubrics;
  • attempt to manipulate, confuse, or exploit our AI evaluation system — for example, by including instructions in a free-text answer intended to make the AI model award marks it otherwise would not (our system is specifically designed to detect and flag this kind of attempt); or
  • misrepresent your identity, education, or experience when creating your profile or taking an assessment.

Prohibited conduct & unauthorised access

You further agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other candidates’ accounts or data, or our underlying systems;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform, or attempt to bypass any security or rate-limiting control;
  • interfere with or disrupt the platform’s availability or performance for other candidates;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying question bank, scoring logic, or AI prompts used by the platform; or
  • use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law.

Violating any of the above may result in suspension or termination of your account, as described in “Suspension & termination” below.

5.Assessment rules & integrity

Assessments are timed and structured into modules covering technical, logical-reasoning, and aptitude content relevant to your chosen role. Once an assessment is submitted, your answers are final and cannot be changed. We reserve the right to invalidate an assessment attempt, or take other appropriate action, if we reasonably determine that it was completed in violation of the fair-use requirements in “Your responsibilities” above.

6.AI-generated content & limitations

A portion of your assessment questions, part of your scoring (for free-text answers), and the narrative content of your report are generated or assisted by AI models. Full detail on exactly how this works is in our Privacy Policy.

Accuracy disclaimer

AI-generated content — including assessment questions, scoring of free-text answers, and report narrative — may occasionally contain errors, be miscalibrated, or fail to fully capture the nuance of a particular answer. We do not represent that our AI systems are unbiased or that their output is always accurate. Assessment results should be interpreted in light of RFR’s assessment methodology, as one structured input into your own understanding of your job readiness, and not as an infallible or complete evaluation of your abilities.

Human review

Our evaluation system is designed to flag certain answers for human review in specific circumstances. As described in our Privacy Policy, this human-review step is not yet fully enforced end-to-end in production. We do not claim that every AI-assisted result you receive has been reviewed by a human before being shown to you.

7.Reports, scores & outcomes

Your report, readiness classification, and any recommendations are generated solely for your own informational and self-development use.

  • No guarantee of employment, interview selection, or hiring outcome. RFR does not place you with, recommend you to, or share your results with any employer, and completing an assessment — however well you perform — does not guarantee, or even imply, that you will be interviewed, hired, or selected for any role, by us or by any third party.
  • No role recommendations to third parties. As of this policy’s effective date, RFR does not operate any feature that recommends you to an employer or shares your report with one; your report is yours, for your own reference, unless you choose to share it yourself.
  • Readiness classifications and scores reflect your performance against the specific questions and rubric used in that assessment attempt, generated in part by AI systems as described above, and should be understood with that context and the accuracy disclaimer above in mind.

8.Intellectual property

RFR content

The platform, including its design, software, question bank, AI prompts and system design, and all AI-generated questions and content, is owned by or licensed to RFR and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform’s content, including assessment questions, except as necessary to take your own assessment.

Your content

You retain ownership of the personal information and free-text answers you submit. By submitting a free-text answer, you grant RFR a limited licence to process, store, and use that answer solely to evaluate your assessment and generate your report, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated questions and content

Questions and report narrative generated by our AI systems for your assessment are provided to you solely for your personal use in understanding your results, and remain part of RFR’s platform content as described above.

9.Third-party services & links

The platform integrates with third-party service providers — including Amazon Web Services (for AI processing and infrastructure), Mixpanel (for analytics), and Razorpay (for payment processing) — each described in more detail in our Privacy Policy. Your use of any payment flow is also subject to the applicable third-party provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service we integrate with or link to.

10.Platform availability

We aim to keep the platform available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our reasonable control, and we are not liable for any loss arising from the platform being temporarily unavailable.

11.Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms — including the fair-use, no-cheating, and prohibited-conduct provisions above — or if required by law.

Account deletion

Implementation gap

A self-service account-deletion feature is not yet available in the product. To request deletion of your account, contact support@readyforrole.com or [PRIVACY_EMAIL], and see “Deletion and erasure” in our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when your account is deleted.

12.Liability & warranties

Disclaimer of warranties

The platform, including all assessments, scores, reports, and AI-generated content, is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, RFR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any decision you make in reliance on an assessment result or report. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Indian law.

13.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold RFR harmless from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

14.Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform. We encourage you to first raise any concern through our Support & Grievance process so we have a fair opportunity to resolve it directly.

Note

Bengaluru, Karnataka is specified here because it is where ReadyForRole publicly lists its contact address. This should be confirmed against the company’s actual registered office once [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME] and [REGISTERED_ADDRESS] are finalised, and updated if the registered entity sits in a different jurisdiction.

15.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including as we complete features described as in-progress in this document. We will update the effective date above when we do, and where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
